We have been fortunate over the last 11+ years to have brought in amazing shadows, DPT students, and aides. LWPT is proud to have had over 103 people head on to grad school. The majority have been PT school, but we have also had a DO, DC, PA, MD, OTs, Navy Medics, and PTAs.

Our hope is to continually find people that can be a great part of our close knit team. You do not have to have a medical back ground but you do have to have the ability to multi-task and have enthusiasm to learn.

What are the aide responsibilities?

The job responsibilities differ from each location a little but overall they include:

  • Helping check-in patients

  • Working with PTs in preparation and completion of care

  • Insurance, Physician, Electronic Medical Records, and Patient interaction

  • Ensuring a safe and clean rehabilitation environment

  • Marketing and Operational efforts

What is our goal for you?

The team at LWPT is very selective on who they bring on to be part of the staff. If you get hired then our goal is to get you into graduate school. Our therapists take great pride in this. For the majority of our candidates this means having our managers and student coordinators help you get in touch with different settings, PTCAS questions, transcript improvement, retaking courses, letters of recommendations, and interview preparation.
