Jordan is a Washington local where he attended Kentridge High School and obtained his undergraduate at Western Washington University. After returning to Washington, he took two years off of academia and worked as an aide for an outpatient clinic working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.  During his education at UW, Jordan has had the opportunity to complete rotations at Harborview and Providence Hospital before coming to Lake Washington Physical Therapy. Tyraya Hicks
Front Office & Aide

Tyraya is one of our newest front desk/PT aide additions! She graduated high school in 2015 and then began her journey in healthcare as a caretaker/medical technician. She really enjoys working with people, and has loved helping us ensure our patients have a positive experience when they come in to visit us. Although Tyraya is new to working in the physical therapy world, she is committed and eager to learn the ins and outs of our clinic. During her first couple of weeks she loved seeing and hearing first hand how much patients' lives can be enriched by what is offered.

When not working you can find Tyraya walking her two exuberant dogs or simply listening to anyone rave about their own furry children. She loves joining her family and friends anytime she can to camp, kayak, hike, road trip, or travel anywhere tropical!

Kemberly Garcia
Front Office & Aide

College: Seattle University

Kemberly is a Seattle native, graduated from Seattle University in 2024 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She is interested in becoming a Physical Therapist in the near future and working with a wide range of individuals in helping them return to living their daily lives pain free. During her time at Seattle University, she was able to gain inpatient experience by interning at Virginia Mason. She was able to work with patients bedside and helping them with walking and performing other various activities that would aid in their recovery. Kemberly also interned at the University of Washington Amplified Movement Performance Lab and learned about how research is done in order to keep the science up to date.

Kemberly has always been a very active person participating in multiple sports growing up such as soccer, swimming, martial arts and cross country. She also loves to explore the outdoors with friends and especially her dog. She enjoys camping, swimming, paddle boarding, hiking and of course just relaxing under a tree.

Nathan Songco
Front Office & Aide

High School:Kent-Meridian
College: UW

Nathan has lived in Washington ever since he was born. For his undergraduate studies, he majored in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. He wants to continue his education and receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. His interest in the field grew when he was a patient himself due to knee problems. Working in a hands-on field, helping improve a patient's physical and mental well-being is what really drew him into the profession. Growing up, Nathan loved playing a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, and tennis; soccer being his favorite. Continuing his passion for soccer, Nathan is now a youth soccer coach for his younger brother’s team. In the future, he would love to use Physical Therapy and Coaching together by opening his own gym/training/rehab center. Other passions include traveling to tropical destinations and eating delicious food! If ever lost, he can often be found by the water, gazing into the distance"

Krista Eich
Front Office & Aide

High School: Ferndale
College: Arizona State University

Krista was born in southern California before her family landed back in the Pacific Northwest, splitting her time growing up between Whatcom County and Stevens Pass. While working on her AA, she took a nutrition class and fell in love with how the body functions, leading her to pursue her Bachelor’s in Science in Nutrition. After spending some time in the field, she has connected more with the recovery aspect, hoping to help those live more enriched lives through movement and being able to pursue their hobbies without or limited pain. Krista is hoping to apply to physical therapy school in the next year.

When Krista is not working, you can find her dancing at a concert, camping, hiking, paddleboarding, spending time with family/friends or chasing the sun when the winter months come. She loves a good mystery book and snuggling with her two senior dogitzens, Bagel and Toopac.

Kara Jess
Front Office & Aide

Kara grew up in Philadelphia, PA where she was active in many sports, focusing most of her time on competitive cheerleading, track, figure skating, and skiing. These high impact sports introduced her and her friends to the world of injuries at a young age. She later went off to graduate Magna Cum Laude at the University of Florida (go gators!) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Political Campaigning.

After a skating accident a few years ago resulted in a bad injury, she was introduced to the world of physical therapy. She was amazed at how helpful and impactful it was to heal through physical therapy, and set her sights on becoming a Physical Therapist. While she's an Aide in West Seattle, she will be applying to Doctor of Physical Therapy programs and hopes to learn as much as possible each day.

When she's not behind the front desk, Kara loves to stay active and be outside as much as possible! In the summertime, you can find her enjoying the classic PNW activities of rock climbing, biking, kayaking, hiking, and camping with her dog. In the winter, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and sewing vintage textiles into clothes for her and her friends!

High School: Our Lady of Guam
College: University of Central Florida

Ilei was born overseas in Japan and grew up in Guam, USA where she attended Academy of Our Lady of Guam. Ilei took an early interest in Chamorro hula and Filipino cultural dancing, which later progressed into hip hop choreography and breaking. Although she did not officially play on a high school team, you could find her at the nearest beach playing volleyball, playing drums and guitar for any high school event, or learning power moves and footwork for the next battle or choreography. She later attended college in Orlando, FL where she decided to take on leadership roles in the Filipino Student Association and Elements of Hip Hop at the University of Central Florida. Traveling the US and dancing in different communities ultimately opened her eyes to sports and kinesiology.

Her goal is to stay in this field to give back to her community of White Center and West Seattle, become a PTA, and remain open to becoming a DPT, while staying a cool, active, loving mom.
