Emma grew up in Lake Forest, California, and earned her BA in Dance Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2017. During her education at CSU Long Beach, she discovered her passion for health sciences and decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. In 2020, she moved to Spokane, WA to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University.
Emma completed all her clinical internships in the Greater Seattle area and loved it so much that she decided to stay after graduation. She graduated from EWU in 2023 and is very excited to join the Lake Washington team as a physical therapist! Emma prioritizes creating a supportive and collaborative relationship with each of her patients. She believes that high quality care is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and open communication. She is happy to treat all different conditions and has special interests in treating dance-related injury and neurological conditions.
Emma was a ballet dancer for 2 decades and has since expanded her horizons to include many types of social dance, including salsa, casino de rueda, bachata, cha cha cha, merengue, and kizomba. When she isn’t dancing, she enjoys birdwatching, visiting national parks, and spending time with her family and friends.
