Maxwell Ngo
PT, DPT
Cal Poly SLO
University of Washington
west Seattle

Maxwell was born and raised in Albany, California, a small sister town of Berkeley in the Bay Area, as a first-generation Chinese-Vietnamese-American. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Kinesiology, concentrating on exercise science. During his studies, he worked as a physical therapy aide to gain a deeper understanding of the field while working towards becoming a physical therapist. Additionally, he conducted a biomechanical research study on lifting and worked as a registered behavioral technician for kids with autism. He then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington, learning about the latest research and methods in rehabilitative medicine.

Maxwell has experience working with orthopedic diagnoses but finds his passion when working with athletic populations such as weekend warriors, runners, weightlifters, pickleball, and tennis players. He also enjoys working with older adults or people who spend most of their time sitting for work or hobbies. Maxwell values working with open-minded individuals to help them achieve their personal goals. He strives to approach his patients with intention, provide evidence-based care, and listen proactively to what his patients want to achieve. He will be there along the way to guide and coach his patients throughout their plan of care, empowering them and instilling self-confidence in their movement.

Maxwell enjoys backpacking in alpine lakes during the summer to fly fish and catch trout for dinner, weightlifting, playing pickleball, PC gaming, and staying indoors to binge-watch TV shows and anime. You can find him splurging on expensive sushi around Seattle or meal-prepping with his partner for the weekend for maximum gains. He is currently learning to enjoy reading novels as a pastime and working on updating his outdated college wardrobe.
