A Washington native, Cynthia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in 2000. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Puget Sound in 2004. She has extensive manual therapy training through North American Institute of Manual Therapy (CMPT) and is also an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Desiring to grow more in PT, she became a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC). She values education and believes there is always something to learn in this field. She continues to further her study in the area of functional movement and Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) philosophy. Cynthia has a special interest also in the athletic population, especially the female athlete. She has considerable experience working with athletes particularly with fractures in their back due to overuse injuries from high impact, rotational sports. However, she enjoys working with all populations to help them reach their most optimal physical potential.

Her other passion is mentoring other aspiring physical therapy students, training PT Aides in the clinic and helping them achieve their dreams in this amazing field of practice.

Cynthia loves hanging out with family and friends. She has a background in kickboxing, and various other sports. She is also involved in ministry at her church and dedicates her time helping young adults grow in different areas of their lives. She especially appreciates spending time with her husband and two children while traveling, watching Husky football, the Seattle Seahawks and appreciating all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
