Luke grew up in Boise, Idaho and is new to the Seattle area. As a high school athlete, he was passionate about football, basketball, track, and snowboarding. Through these activities he sustained several injuries. He was able to work with a physical therapist who helped him return to doing the things he loved, sparking his interest in the field.
He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Boise State in 2019. From there, he moved to Pocatello, Idaho where he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Idaho State in 2023.
He has a long history of personal training and performance coaching, giving him a high degree of knowledge in understanding human movement and how its optimization is a centerpiece to maximizing pain-free activity tolerance at all levels. Through his clinicals in PT school, he worked in a variety of different style outpatient facilities where he was able to develop a large array of tools to utilize in his treatments.
He takes pride in combining the knowledge gained through his years of experience, whether it be in manual therapy techniques, corrective exercise, neuromuscular activation, or return to sport progressions, to provide an all-encompassing treatment experience. He plans to continue his education with certifications in BFR and dry needling and aims to work towards his CSCS and OCS in the coming years.
Growing up in the Boise area, he has a long love for the outdoors. You will always find him doing something active whether it be snowboarding, hiking, trail running, cross-fit, backpacking, rock climbing, or pickleball. As a therapist today, he takes pride in working with individuals of all fitness levels and conditions, prioritizing their personal goals, and guiding them through the journey to returning to the activities they love.
