My Custom Orthotics are worn
What Do I do Now?
A common question that I get every year is due to wear, use, snow, dogs, travel, etc… someone has seen excessive wear in their orthotics and what should they do? I guess my typical thought is that orthotics should last 2-3 years per pair unless you are putting excessive load, start-stop sports, consistency getting them wet/dry, or changing them between shoes daily. If you have insurance coverage I would recommend getting another pair and then transitioning your previous orthotics into your errand shoes, dog walking shoes, or yard work boots. The new pair would be the ones you spend the majority of your walking and working in.
I want another pair of Orthotics
Some insurances cover orthotics for 1 and even 2 pairs per year. For all other patients we offer a discount per calendar year. You do not need to schedule another appointment after being digitally casted the first time. This saves you time and money.

Can Orthotics be refurbished?
Yes. We recommend having them refurbished every 24-36 months or as wear indicates. There is a fee for the refurbish ($150.00 +tax) includes shipping (FedEx Ground), but it is cheaper than the original pair and can extend the life of the orthotics as well as allow it to continue to deliver performance.
