Victor is a homegrown eastsider who received his bachelor's from Gonzaga University and doctorate from Creighton University. He was born in Toronto, Canada and raised in Redmond, WA and went to school in Kirkland at ICS. He also played soccer for Eastlake High School and went through the Crossfire and Eastside soccer programs growing up.
Victor has a long history with LWPT. He first shadowed Ben Wobker and Matt Sato at the downtown location when he was in college and then returned to work for them as an aide before graduate school. He also took this time to get his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification and has experience in working with recreational, high school, collegiate and professional athletes.
He has a special interest in return-to-sport athletes and post operative cases, especially of the lower extremities. He also teaches ski conditioning classes in the winter through the Alpine Training Project. He is a former collegiate athlete and played club soccer at Gonzaga and was also the team manager for the women's DI soccer team. He also works closely with his friend, colleague and former Seattle Sounders PT Heidi Biehl as she leads LWPT's new performance sector to transition athletes to supervised, on-field return to sport treatment.
Victor had several diverse rotations during his graduate studies. His first was at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he worked on trauma, adult progressive care, intensive care, cardiac, solid organ transplant, burn, and orthopedic units among others. He then worked at CHI Creighton University Hospital performing acute care on low income and homeless populations. Victor’s next rotation was at Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy in Scottsdale, AZ where he could build on his outpatient orthopedic skills with a focus on his manual skills. He completed his last rotation at Premier Physical Therapy in Redmond where he continued to develop his patient care skills and increase his quality of care.
He enjoys recreational activities such as skiing, golfing, basketball, weight lifting and going on walks with his Great Dane Hamilton and his wife Jennifer. You will always find him supporting Seattle sports teams and of course his beloved Zags.
